Who we are
Menopause Science (menopause.science) is an independent, reader-supported publication that summarizes peer-reviewed research on menopause, perimenopause and hormonal health. This policy explains what information the site handles and why.
What we collect
- Server and security logs. Like every website, our server and our security provider (Cloudflare) record technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the site you subscribed on and the time of sign-up. Emails are sent through our newsletter provider (Beehiiv). Every issue carries an unsubscribe link.
- Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the exchange for as long as needed to answer you.
We do not run advertising networks, we do not build profiles of readers, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Cookies
The site itself sets only the technical cookies WordPress and Cloudflare need to function. Some articles contain affiliate links (see below); if you click one, the retailer may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Affiliate links
Some product mentions link to retailers such as iHerb and Amazon. If you buy through such a link we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Menopause Science earns from qualifying purchases. Editorial content is never written to order for a retailer.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or unsubscribe at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will act within 30 days.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
